THE SHOPS AT FOLSOM RANCH ADDS BENTO BOX, SLICE HOUSE RESTAURANTS

That center, called The Shops at Folsom Ranch, is planned for the Highway 50 and East Bidwell Street interchange. Construction is underway on two multi-tenant shops buildings in the project, according to Derek Hunter, an associate developer with Cupertino-based Hunter Properties. He said Hunter Properties is developing The Shops at Folsom Ranch with PCCP LLC.

SACRAMENTO’S RAILYARDS DEVELOPMENT EYED FOR INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCING DISTRICT

Facing $90 million in infrastructure needs, property for the Railyards development in Sacramento could be getting a special designation to help pay for it. The Sacramento City Council will vote Tuesday on whether to take the first steps toward putting the entire 244 acres of the project into an enhanced infrastructure financing district. Doing so would allow the city to borrow against future property tax revenue to fund such improvements.

DICK’S SPORTING GOODS TO CONVERT REMAINING FIELD & STREAM STORES AMID MAJOR EXPANSION OF HOUSE OF SPORT

Dick’s Sporting Goods is ready to go all in on expanding its House of Sport store concept as its new growth vehicle. The company announced in its earnings call for the second quarter that it could establish as many as 75 new Dick’s House of Sport in the next five years, among the first a portion of 17 of its remaining Field & Stream locations the company will convert over the next two years.

A MAJORITY OF BUSINESS LEADERS AND EXECUTIVES SUPPORT ANNUAL INCREASES IN THE FEDERAL MINIMUM WAGE

According to a new survey by compensation data and services firm PayScale Inc. The survey of compensation professionals, human resources leaders and business executives found 75% of U.S. respondents agreed the federal minimum wage should be increased. About 66% said the minimum wage, which currently stands at $7.25 per hour, should go up automatically every year to keep up pace with the cost of living.
